I always like the Work-In-Progress shots. It's positive reinforcement not to 'give up' too early if your art piece isn't exactly what you thought it should be... yet!

[Dahmer's Death Potion]

The crackle in the highlights of the bottle and the apparent thickness suggest the imperfections in the fabrication of old glass bottles, lending a folklore touch to it. The colors and glows add the mysticism... the tiny skull speaks for itself (even without a tongue). Another great painting.

Another great painting... the colors are vibrant and there's a sensation of depth that draws the viewer in. Nice that you've even provided a backstory for the uninitiated.

I did an exercise like this in a class a few months ago where the participants had to draw an apple using only red, yellow, blue and black pencils. It's a test of your ability to mix colors using only the primaries. You did a good job with this... kudos for the reflections and shadows.
